In recognition of promoting and preserving the ancient Iranian culture, we have chosen the symbol of Chaharbagh for ourselves. Chaharbagh refers to a garden divided into four sections by two perpendicular axes. The axes intersect at the center, where a basin or pavilion is embedded. This definition is recognized as the geometric root of the Iranian garden and has the most followers among Iranian garden scholars. The Iranian garden, with its illustrious history, is regarded as one of the best models of landscaping, representing the constructive interaction between humans and nature.
The reasons and methods behind the formation of this phenomenon have been the subject of various opinions. Among various factors in the formation of the Iranian garden and its unique geometry, the theory of the Chaharbagh pattern is widely recognized as one of the most famous theories.
